Maya Physical Therapy, Inc is a privately owned full service outpatient physical therapy practice located in Davie, FL. Maya Physical Therapy, Inc is a practice dedicated to the philosophy that “each patient is an individual with their own set of needs and concerns.” Our ‘one to one’ patient to therapist program allows us to provide the best care available. The owner, Sanjay Naduparambil, PT has hand-picked a dedicated staff with an extraordinary amount of experience in treating all types of patients with orthopedic conditions. We provide an array of rehabilitation services and treatments to all ages in comfortable and pleasing state the art facilities. We believe that each patient that arrives at Maya Physical Therapy, Inc has their own set of “needs and concerns”. Therefore, we treat each patient as an individual and direct their treatment plan according to their unique situation.

Perhaps the greatest asset we have at Maya Physical Therapy, Inc is our professional staff. Each staff member has been carefully selected for their education, experience, and skills training. However, each staff member is also required to have a positive, calming, and uplifting personality. We believe that providing emotional support for our patients is crucial to the process of rehabilitation and in helping our patients return to their normal. Our entire staff provides a gentle, caring approach that steadily and progressively encourages the patient to push themselves through their rehab program.     Jeanine Barraza, Doctor of Physical Therapy

    Dr. Jeanine Barraza graduated with a clinical Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. During her graduate studies, Dr. Barraza completed additional coursework in manual therapy emphasizing advanced examination/treatment of the extremities, lumbo-pelvic-hip complex, craniofacial-cervical-thoracic spine, and myofascial mobilization.

    Dr. Barraza has over 10 years of experience working in the field of physical therapy. During this time, she has treated a variety of patients ranging from professional athletes to pediatric and geriatric populations. She is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association and Florida Physical Therapy Association. Her goal is to build on her experiences and enhance her expertise in orthopedics and manual therapy.

    Her personal interests include traveling, boating, SCUBA diving, and growing orchids.

    Aparna Joshi PT, MPT

    Aparna Joshi graduated with a Masters in Physical Therapy from the KLE Institute of Physical Therapy. During her graduate studies, she completed a dissertation on low back pain and sciatica. Aparna likes to incorporate allied therapies in her treatment planning and believes in a holistic approach in tandem with traditional physical therapy modalities. Aparna has completed courses in first degree Reiki and advanced aromatherapy.

    Mrs. Joshi has over 8 years of experience working in the field of physical therapy. During this time, she treated a variety of patients ranging from professional athletes to pediatric and geriatric populations. Aparna treats all of her patients with tremendous respect and a high standard of care. Her goal is to promote healing and well-being of each and every patient that she sees.

    Aparna’s interests include Indian classical music and dance, culinary art, motherhood, and exploring different cultures.

    Stacy Emmanuel, Physical Therapy Assistant

    Ms. Emmanuel graduated with a Physical Therapy Assistant Associate in Science degree from Broward College. She has been practicing as a PTA for over 2 ½ years in various treatment settings including outpatient and home health care. Ms. Emmanuel has treated patients of all ages ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics as well as athletes. Her goal is to build on her knowledge of treating athletes by learning more about Kinesio taping. Her personal interests include reading and traveling.

    Marga Delmonte, Licensed Massage Therapist

    Ms. Delmonte graduated from Florida Career College in 2006 with a diploma in Massage Therapy and successfully passed the licensure exam in the State of Florida shortly thereafter. Ms. Delmonte has treated patients of all ages for the last 6 years and truly enjoys helping others relax their mind and body. Ms. Delmonte specializes in the following massage techniques: sport massage, Swedish massage, reflexology, deep tissue massage, hot stone massage, and ayurvedic oil massage.

    Celeste Cervantes, Front Desk Coordinator

    Ms. Cervantes received her Billing and Coding Certification from ATI training center in 2012 and quickly joined the Maya Physical Therapy staff in July of 2012. Patients and clients have described her as professional, kind, and accommodating. Her personal interests include spending time with family/friends and going to the beach.

    Sanjay Naduparambil is a Florida State licensed Physical Therapist who graduated from the Dr. MGR Medical University in Chennai, India. Sanjay has over 20 years of experience in a variety of treatment settings including acute care, cardiac rehabilitation, wound care, neurological treatment, home healthcare and outpatient orthopedics. He has spent the last 10 years perfecting his treatment skills in the area of orthopedics and has been described by his patients as a highly competent and compassionate clinician. In early 2012, Sanjay established Maya Physical Therapy, Inc with the goal of providing the community with quality therapy services that go beyond the standards of care.


    Sanjay has furthered his education/training by completing continuing education courses in the following areas: kinesiology taping, vestibular rehabilitation, cardiac rehabilitation, and hip/ knee/ankle/ shoulder diagnosis and treatment. He has also completed the first and second phase of the McKenzie post graduate program for cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine mechanical diagnosis and treatment from McKenize Institute USA. In addition to his qualifications as a Physical Therapist, Sanjay has received his certification as a Personal Trainer by the International Sports and Fitness Trainers Association.


    Sanjay’s professional interests include expanding his already extensive knowledge base through ongoing clinical education in manual treatment and differential diagnosis.
