Please make sure to bring as per the following checklist:
Wear loosely fitting clothes so that it becomes convenient for you to bare the area that we will be inspecting and evaluating. Loose fitting shirt & pants, tank tops, shorts etc., are great ideas.
Length of appointments is at the discretion of the therapist, but please be sure to set aside at least 45 minutes for your appointment.
This is highly variable. You may need one visit or you may need months of care. It depends on your diagnosis, the severity of your impairments, your past medical history, etc. You will be re-evaluated on a monthly basis and when you see your doctor, we will provide you with a progress report with our recommendations.
We will coordinate appointments suitable for your schedule. Should you have a preference of staying with a particular therapist, please be sure to mention so at time of scheduling appointments.
Physical Therapy is more comprehensive and customized to your skeletal structure. A physical therapist is trained to not only relieve you of spasms, pain and dislocations but also devise a best possible scientific treatment protocol to ensure your body heals by itself and stabilizes your core. Access to modern medical technology and the knowledge of the overall human body enables a Physical Therapist to be in a better position to correct your ailments or injury.
Depending on the evaluation results, massage may be a part of the treatment protocol for you. Typically massage is used to relieve hidden stresses in a tight muscle, pain and facilitate venous return from a swollen area. If you’re diagnosed with these conditions, the physical therapist may consider massage necessary

Depending on your endurance and internal musculoskeletal structure, you might have to continue with a customised gym regimen, home exercise program or even complete rehabilitation and return to daily activities. It is very crucial that you openly communicate with your physical therapist so that nothing is missed out, while designing a customised program that’s fun to implement for you.
